    (60-56) Redsox Vs. Angels (56-59)

    Game 1: Thursday August 8th at 7:10 PM
    Chris Sale (5-11) (4.68 ERA)
    The lefty had another rough start in what has become an inconsistent season last time out against the Yankees, giving up nine hits and eight runs over 3 2/3 innings. At Fenway this season, Sale is 1-4 with a 4.76 ERA, but lifetime against the Angels he is 6-0 with a 1.28 ERA.

    Dillon Peters (2-0) (3.20 ERA)
    Peters is coming off the longest outing by an Angels pitcher this season, allowing three runs over 7 2/3 innings against the Indians. He has a 2.70 ERA over his last three outings.

    Game 2: Friday August 9th at 7:10 PM
    David Price (7-5) (4.36 ERA)
    Price was rocked by the Yankees in his last start, giving up nine hits and seven runs in 2 2/3 innings. He usually thrives at Fenway Park though, where he is 29-8 with a 3.12 ERA. Price is 7-7 with a 3.34 ERA in 17 starts against the Angels in his career.

    Jamie Barria (4-5) (6.36 ERA)
    Barria struggled against Cleveland in his last start, allowing three runs over 3 2/3 innings. He was hurt by three homers and has allowed at least one in seven straight outings.

    Game 3: Saturday August 10th at 1:05 PM
    Rick Porcello (10-8) (5.54 ERA)
    Porcello bounced back from a recent slump by holding the Royals to one run over six innings in his last start. He is 7-7 with a 5.56 ERA in his career against the Angels.

    Game 4: Sunday August 11th at 4:05 PM
    Andrew Cashner (10-7) (4.68 ERA)
    The righty has struggled since coming to the Red Sox, giving up four runs or more in all but one of his five starts for Boston. The home runs, in particular, have been a problem. Cashner has given up seven of them in 28 2/3 innings.

    Patrick Sandoval (0-0) (3.60 ERA)
    Sandoval was solid in his Major League debut against the Reds, surrendering two runs over five innings. He struck out eight and was helped by his changeup.
