I don't get the San Francisco rumors.. San Francisco isn't going to make a good deal with us. I think in the past the dodgers have been able to make good trades (besides yordan alvarez) by trading specs that others view highly that the dodgers don't value as much. That wouldn't be the case dealing with Cisco because farhan zaidi knows the way that the dodgers view their farm.

LA is the frontrunner for a lefty reliever with an ERA at almost 5.00. Good fastball tho, but so does Kelly. https://www.fangraphs.com/pitchfxo.a...FA&ymin=&ymax=

Good, they didn't need a lefty reliever with an ERA of 4.75.

I wouldn't be shocked to see LA pull off something like a Wheeler/Diaz package with the Mets along with some ugly ERA's, but also some heat. I believe Andrew believes this is his best team during his tenure.

I wonder if the Mets have a bad contract we can eat to spare a couple of our prospects?

The problem with getting Stroman or Wheeler is that in our rotation they won’t help at all in the first round and they may only get two or three starts combined if we go all the way. You gotta figure Ryu, Kershaw, Buehler will be our first three starters and then Stroman or Wheeler would fight with our remaining guys for that fourth spot in the playoff rotation. It just makes more sense to get a dominant reliever or a legit number one or two guy like Bauer or Syndagaard.

They need to trade Kike and give all his playing time to Beatty.
