Im legit curious to see how Stroman does with the bat in his hands in the NL.
I don't imagine he is doing anything outrageous.

Pay the Mets back for Syndergaard trade. If Woods-Richardson proves out. Stroman is highly paid and goes onto mediocre career.

Simeon Woods Richardson finished up in Dunedin with some solid numbers. In 28.1 IP he did this.

    2.54 ERA
    0.882 WHIP
    5.7 H/9
    2.2 BB/9
    9.2 SO/9
    0.3 HR/9

What stands out is the WHIP because this kid isn't a power pitcher. His fastball supposedly sits in the mid 90's sometimes touching 96. People love seeing tons of strikeouts but if you're averaging 1 an inning then I'm fine. The more I watch him, the more I get excited. He's going to be in AA next season, maybe not to start but he'll get there.

"Supposedly" he's been clocked at 98 mph but what I've read on him is that he sits at 91-94 mph. I'm not worried though. Throwing hard is nice but not really a necessity if you know how to pitch. His numbers suggest he does.

Dude knows how to spin it. Doesn't he have like 9 pitches at his disposal?

We may took the Mets to the cleaners on this one. On the radio, NY fans were ripping the Mets last night. Should have keep Wheeler instead they say. Glad Stroman is out of Toronto. But get 2 young arms for him was outstanding.

Mets made bad trades recently, Diaz trade, Lowrie signing.

This trade literally keeps getting better. Stroman might end up just being a rental.

Thatís what happens when you hire an agent as your GM.

They just can't get anything right. Is Dolan involved with the Mets?

    Might as well be.

I believe the Mets are paying 2 or 3 players that are currently retired still too.

Contracts like Bobby Bonilla have become the norm for stars now though. Players are going to be getting paid well into their retirement.
