I can't help but think that they're trying to show that this long of a preseason is useless to get their 18 game schedule lol.
    Boring as hell.

Injuries have taken out the most interesting players to watch. Joe Jones (still holding hope with this guy in nickel packages as that ILB..got plenty of coverage experience at Northwestern and he's quite the athlete). Fort, and Lock.

I guess Alexander Johnson and Josh watson are folks to watch at ILB. Justin Hollins is one to watch at ILB as well..

Maybe get to see some Jake Butt? That would be nice. That new FB/TE could be interesting...should get a lot of playing time.

A lot of Hogan is less than ideal though. At least get to see Rypien...that's something...I guess.

Hollins played all 68 defensive snaps on saturday! They like this kid a lot. Can see him being a front 7 chess piece.

They have loved Hollins from the start. So, with Watson released..I'm guessing they are going to roll with Hollins more at edge inside of inside.

Our edge depth is completely dependent on Von/Chubb. We have Reed/Hollins behind them...very very young.

Kerr, while a nice and cool dude, was being completely out-played by Purcell. If any of you had the misery of watching that game on Saturday...you would of at least seen Purcell dominate. He's had a very impressive pre-season and he fits the mold of that Fangio run stuffer that he needs.

Kerr is not exactly a pass rusher...nor a run stuffer. Just...kinda a body. A little disappointed with his athleticism that he has but not really an impact dude. Doesn't mean he sucked...just literally the mold of a rotational piece

With Purcell...at least we will have a dude that will make an impact in the running game. He fits well with the Wolfe/Gotsis run buffing mold.

Watson is just a victim of salary cap tightness. He did very well this preseason..and we definitely could of used him as edge depth...but we're saving that cap for someone.

ILB/Punter/OL....we're going to pick someone up..

^Or WR. Forgot about that. We have absolutely nobody for PR or KR. So if some good WR's are on the block on cut day...we're probably going to be pouncing.

From what it sounds like, Hollins is going to be on the outside on early downs, and move to inside backer in passing situations. Word is that he could be our main cover backer. They must really like him to be asking him to play two positions.

I didn't watch the game and have no clue about Purcell other than he's in his 6th year and we're the 7th team he's been on (8th if you count AAF). I did see that Beirria stuff on the goal line though, and that was nice!

I have absolutely zero clue why Wadman is still on the team. He's easily a bottom 5 punter in the league, and there's got to be a better option on the street.

First time in many moons HAVE NOT followed our Broncos in preseason.

Based on what you guys are seeing what are your thoughts about the upcoming season?

    Are we a playoff competitor?

It's hard to tell. The defense looks dominant, and the starting offense looks good until we get in the red zone. But to be honest, the offense hasn't played enough to really understand how they're going to be. I mean Flacco only threw the ball 15 times in the entirety of the preseason.

We didn't really have many options for cover ILB's...but having him as the main one might be a bit ballsy. Man, really wish Joe Jones was healthy...would of been a fascinating piece to use in those sub packages as the coverage backer. Tons of experience, plenty of athleticism.

Purcell was just a camp body....until he wasn't. He's made quite the impact for himself. His run defense is his calling card and it has certainly showed. Think Peko type (literally..hair and everything). Kerr was the biggest d-lineman but he never really showed stout run defense...Purcell shows it...imo. Shelby Harris was bounced around for some years and look at him now. That doesn't bother me...only 28 and looks to provide value as run stuffing NT...something Fangio needs...cause right now Shelby Harris is our NT......kinda small...and he'll be playing quite a few snaps.

I really don't understand how it's so damn hard to find a punter for this team. We punt in the ****in altitude...you can't get someone that AT LEAST does that well?

We really don't know what we're going to see offensively. Such a small sample size...so we just keep referring to Lil Shanny's/Shanny's/Kubs offense as a reference. Everything very bland this pre-season offensively. So, either Scangs is going to come out with a blaze...or we're going to see something very boring throughout the season.

First time OC so he's keeping things under wraps. If there is anything to take note of offensively...is that Munchak's is bound to make his presence felt through the season for our offensive line. Flacco looks comfortable with this offense...and Sanders is healthy.

Defensively has all the hype. Loads of media pundits are raving over the potential the defense has...von and Chubb look to be an absolute force. Biggest question mark is, arguably, the biggest position for Fangio...the LB's. If Callahan/Scrap dog/Yiadom are all healthy...this could seriously be an underrated elite secondary...cause Kareem Jackson and Simmons are poised for some big time plays...particularly Simmons. He's been having himself quite the camp and many feel he's going to get PAID when this season is over.

I'd like to see Lindsay take that job given the currently lack of talent returning kicks and punts. I know he's the starting RB and the injury risk may be too great but Antonio Brown and Desean Jackson returned kicks for years while being prominent players on offense. Sounds like Freeman is going to get more involved in the run game and when Riddick comes back he'll be eating away at Lindsay's snap count as well.. it could be a way to get the ball in his hands a few more times each game.

Taking into account Former NFL Scout and NFL Network Analyst Daniel Jeremiah's ‘Championship Roster Checklist’, how does the 2019 Denver #Broncos’ offense stack up in having the ‘must haves’ for a contending roster checked off? Will this finally be the year the offense matches the defense? If not this season, is there potential for the future beyond 2019?

Broncos just traded a 6th round pick to the Patriots for Duke Dawson and a 7th round pick. Dawson was the Patriots second round pick last year, spent most of the season in IR, and the Broncos were very high on him...a killer move with zero risk.

Dawson essentially takes Cravens spot because he confirmed that he is being released.

Hard to find any fault with this move. Factor in Fangio/Donatell's track record with the reclamation of CB's... (ahem...Bausby as a prime example) this move could prove to be quite the get. Crazy how the Pats dumped a 2nd rounder just after 1 year...but whatever...they're the P*ts.

Shame from Cravens. Just wasn't quite the play-maker his reports made him out to be. Couldn't fit as that LB hybrid or safety. Worth the shot.

Got to say though how cool it is that Fangio found himself some nice edge pieces/projects to work with in Malik Reed and Justin Hollins.

Hollins is basically going to be everywhere but Reed really came out of left field. His pass rushing prowess has always been evident...in fact...I'm willing to say he's already got a more refined skill-set than Shane Ray ever had....as well as Shaq Barrett.

He's simply a fun piece to follow. If all he ever amounts to is a pass rushing specialist....he'd still be a good one.

Broncos cut both Hogan and Rypien. Another QB incoming!

Sloter is moving on from Minnesota... Just throwing it out there lol
