Something Iíve always wondered....whatís with the inconsistency with the practice and qualifying schedule race to race? Like some races with have 2 practices then qualifying then the race. Then some have practice, qualifying then a couple practices then the race. Seems stupid to me.

Back to back amazing finishes. The race as a whole was ok I guess. Really wish Kyle didnít get the tire rub at the end of the second stage cause he had the best car

I look at JJ like i do the Patriots, can't count him out until he's officially eliminated. With that being said its been one hell of a streak. I't kinda feels like his career is nearing its ending.

Ally signed on for 2 years, and his contract is up at the end of next year, so everything expires together. If they don't find some speed before the end of the year I think he will announce the farewell tour for 2020 this offseason. He's not a backmarker like Petty and Waltrip were at the end of their careers, but I hate to see him go out like this.

Another good race yesterday. I love it when the pit strategies continually make the race interesting. There were probably about 10 cars that could have won yesterday.

Also a great run by DiBennedetto.

Also, the race to lure Kyle Larson in will be the talk of the 2020 silly season. I could see Jimmie making 2020 his last year, but I expect him to have a Gordon type last year with better equipment in 2020.

Maybe, but I don't think Hendrick will worry about a replacement until Jimmie decides to retire. I think Jimmie has done enough for HMS that Rick will let him retire whenever he wants. If performance picks up and Jimmie decides he wants to race 2 or 3 more years, I believe Hendrick will let him, I don't think Hendrick is going to force him out of the car so he can replace Jimmie with driver X. If the timing works out then it works out, if not, HMS will find a replacement
