    Yes. It is preferable if our pitchers make good pitches to bad ones.

    I am not. You are upset he made a bad pitch. I agree. It would be nice if our pitchers made better pitches when they make bad ones. He made a bad pitch there, and he was punished, more than he should have been, but it was a very bad pitch.

    The thing is, he's trying to go high, so that's exactly what happens when you miss. It's like how a ball ends up in the dirt if you're trying to go low and miss. Going high is by far the biggest risk/reward payoff for pitchers. It's really not even close.
