Exactly. I didnt exactly love or hate either of the brewers deals, which is usually a sign that it's a relatively decent proposal.

I hope the Tigers would go more quality over quantity for Boyd than the trade proposed. Greene should bring back more than that from the Red Sox especially with them taking a bad contract back. The trade for Jimenez look like a steal for the Tigers and the trade for Hardy seems appropriate.

Some teams could go either way at this point, like if the phillies lose a bunch of games over the next couple weeks, like they've done over the last couple weeks.

I agree with this point but if you’re making a thread about trade deadlines you should have a buyer or a seller.

Like the Stroman trade for the Yanks but no way I'm giving up that package for Anderson from the Marlins.

There are a number of teams that could go from sellers to buyers or buyers to sellers in the next week or so.

Thing is what could the Rangers get for Minor should they decide to sell ? The Red Sox just made a huge blunder in Cashner. And the farm is weak . The Rangers won't trade Minor to the Astros who need a starter. What could they get from an NL team for Minor? Seems they would have a better chance of trading him to the NL

Didn't read much after the Stroman trade. No way they are trading him for a couple of wild cards who are 3 years away

    Within the division no less

If the Giants become buyers what would they be looking for?

Phils won't trade Bohm for Minor. That's way too steep of a price. I can't really say what they'd give up though because I'm not familiar with their prospects.

If they were looking to add for 2019, I'd think a second baseman, outfielder, and/or starting pitcher would be the priority.
