I'd rather see Bote consistently at second but I'd prefer anyone over Descalso.

    Cubs at Reds

Literally the very next post, before anyone had a chance to respond, acknowledging that a baseball team doesn’t consist of one player

    And then

I think Addison Russell is everyone favourite punching bag because of the type of suspension he received. Why not ask, “What is the Cubs record in the last 43 games with Kyle Schwarber, Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo, Javier Baez and Willson Contreras in the lineup?”.

They talked about that on the radio..

Obviously he not the reason they loss those games, so much goes on in a baseball game that 1 person doesn't have control of an outcome

I take a stat like that as interesting , that all

That’s fair. Whatever the case is, the team needs to play better as a whole. We have a good run to the break and then they can all reset for the second half. I think we will see better results now. A comeback like yesterday can be a good kick up the arse the team needs.

Cool bit of trivia there. Javi is only the 3rd player in history to start two All-Star games at SS and 2nd and he has done it in consecutive years.

Puig got his foot right about when he was going to let go. Probably didn't want to throw it away.
