Question would you take a flyer on Vernon Hargreaves? He was just released from Tampa and hes a former first round pick. Maybe a change of scenery would help. Granted the reason for his release was because he didn't hustle last game against the Cardinals and was bench.

So did I and it would at least take one position of the boards when it comes to the draft.

In hindsight it occurred to me a "Tanksgiving" thread would've been perfect

Damn it good call. To be perfectly honest I was driving all around trying to make my way to Tahoe. My son is also racing in the Junior Olympics and I lost track of time. But letís just go ahead and say we had a tanks-giving thread.

    teams we'll play next year:

Sunday's early games also solidified the Lions' 2020 schedule.

The Lions host the New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts and Washington next season, plus NFC North foes the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears.

Along with the Packers, Vikings and Bears, the Lions visit the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans and Arizona Cardinals

It all depends on how the schedule will be laid out. We should have an easy schedule but the football Gods are never kind to us. I really hope its not a divisional game on Thanksgiving day again.

At least it seems like we have the easier games on the road. Of course that statement won't mean anything come next year but for what it looks like now, it seems easier.

can't wait to go 7-9 and bring back Patricia & Quinn because it's been well documented that we had a lead in 9 of those games!

if we suck again next year they're gone, they got a mulligan this year, and PP was in place as a meat shield, this will be a "no excuses" season for sure
