I totally lost track of our post count from the last thread lol

news that isn't new, but we gotta start somewhere: Stafford may have played with a broken back last year

Long-time Lions reporter Mike OíHara, who currently works for the team, casually mentioned that Stafford played through broken bones in his back in an interview this week, and while thereís been no detailed reporting of the injury that limited Stafford late last season, I can tell you thatís been the word on the street for some time.
what kinda bum excuse is a broken back? if you can breathe you can play!

Lions sign 9th string JUCO QB who learned position from watching Youtube to backup Stafford

hopefully in the final preseason game they let him sling it

Per the athletic, Stafford is averaging 8 YPA and 7.82 Net Adjusted YPA, both of which would be career highs if he continues this way.

That's awesome. According to team rankings, that puts him 10th in the league. I like that we're trying to push the ball downfield. It feels great to watch.

He does look more comfortable in this offense, it's nice to have an OC that knows what he's doing

Yeah. I haven't personally seen a draw up the middle yet. So that's pleasent.

Lions, Buccaneers, and Titans are three teams that have talked to Miami regarding Kenyan Drake.

Meh, I suppose I'd take him...but it's not a huge need for us imo.

Same thing with WR. I'd take one, but it's not the biggest flaw on the team.

It might be now with Kerryon expected to miss a few weeks according to Schefter. Regardless I don't think we can count on him being the #1 back. 1B to a 1A sure but he is not durable enough to be the focal point which is something we knew about going back to Auburn. Which is why they have been doing the time share thing with him but apparently it is not enough or our luck is just dog ****. Both are probably right to be fair haha.
