Im not saying all these guys are definitely better, I'm saying its a list of ONLY young players let alone the elite guys above 26 that are right there in terms of value with Pascal. Its all about who takes the next step.
It's possible but he will need to majorly round out his offense.

He might already be the best defender on that list.

I like him better than about half those guys now. But in general, I'm a believer that he has another step he can get to. It does depend on who all gets better over the next few years

On the talent side of the equation its not clear-cut that Pascal is on that top 10 list and I don't blame people for thinking that way because most reasonable people default on the talent portion.

But the Championship pedigree elevates everything - he became a two-way player in a very short period of time and also won an NBA championship in that same time frame. It basically sets him up for the rest of his playing career so even if he plateau's at some point; he'll still be able to perform in high-pressure situations whether its defensive assignments or making shots. In terms of overall value - potential aside - he's on that list.

Raps need to bring in Campazzo from Argentina. I think he can be a JJ Barera tyoe with better defense. Possible rotational player if Lowry leaves.

    Two way players clearly better
    Leonard
    Durant
    Giannis
    Lebron
    Davis
    Thompson
    George
    Butler
    Embiid
    Jokic

Non two way players but still better
    Harden
    Curry
    Lillard
    Irving
    WB

    Arguable list
    Griffen
    Walker
    KAT
    McCollum
    Draymond Green
    Oladipo
    Beal
    Conley
    Paul
    Mitchel
    Gobert

    Probably missing some

I have Siakam as a top 25 player currently, weíll see how he does as a first option this season and possibly move up that list. I think he can crack top 20 this year.

I think he belongs in the same category as Thompson/embiid/butler.

Siakam looked like he hadn't play 5 vs 5 all summer.

Terrance Davis looked solid per usual.

Soo top 20 then? Iím curious to see your list bro

Klay is a top 2-3 sg
Embid is 1st or 2nd at the c position.

I donít know if I have Siakam is on that level yet but this season could def change my mind.

I expected a similar response to this.

I base that on impacting the game on both ends of the floor and being a mismatch against almost anyone at the position because of natural talents.

Iím not nearly as high on embiid as others are. I get some Demarcus cousins vibes from him. He puts up numbers but says dumb **** and doesnít back it up when needed the most.
Put embiid on those kings teams instead of cousins and I donít think they are a much better team than they were with cousins.

Siakam has been healthier than either guy too.
And much like Thompson has been a 3rd option on a championship team.

Itís just where I have him.

You donít think demar worked hard on his game?

Or you donít think veteran presence/guidance effects young players careers?

It wouldn't surprise me if DeMar had an influence on his offseason training regimen. He certainly had a huge influence on Norman Powell. However, i think he's always been a hard worker. He started playing basketball late in his life and there is no way you improve that much without having a strong work ethic. I think he already had that drive in him. In fact, when he was drafted, people compared him to Biyombo or wanted him to fill that role. When he was asked about it in his rookie year, he dismissed it and said he wanted to be much more than that and as we can see now, he wasn't kidding.

i hope Pascal plays within his game. He may have an increased role from an offensive standpoint, but we still want him to be that high energy big that runs the floor and plays elite defense. The one improvement I'm looking for is the in-between jumper to keep defenses honest. Adding that to his game will make it easier on him against the elite teams.
