Yes, please. This team is really really good. Best offense in the NL. I think Bumgarner has a Verlander and Hamels turnaround for a contender. Losing Wilson will sting, but the farm is so so deep it's worth the risk IMO

Agree with others that is a deal I'm willing to make. I'm a bit more upset about losing Allard than Wilson myself, but a good haul for the Giants and we get to fill two holes.

So Rome Braves OF Justin Dean hit a ground ball to SS yesterday for a Little League inside-the-parker. SS Jeison Guzman threw wildly. The catcher, backing up, ran to short RF to get the ball. One problem, no one rotated to cover home. So once Dean cleared 2B he just kept running.

Thoughts on a trade package for Luis Castillo? Morosi says "Castillo is not ďavailableĒ in a practical sense of the term, and yet the Reds havenít hung up the phone on teams who have called. They are waiting to be wowed, while feeling content to open 2020 with a largely unchanged pitching staff." He went on to mention the Braves:

The Braves are known to be pursuing starting rotation upgrades. A credible offer for Castillo would need to begin with outfielder Cristian Pache -- the Bravesí No. 1 prospect, according to MLB Pipeline -- and right-hander Ian Anderson, a 21-year-old who is maintaining a 2.91 ERA at Double-A Mississippi this season.

Castillo would give the Braves a top of the rotation arm in his prime with 4 years of team control remaining after this season.

Castillo has a FIP that is 1.2 higher than his ERA. He also has a 4.5 BB/9 ratio. Both of those concern me when you are talking about giving up Pache AND Anderson.

Yep, I don't think we can move those two in the same deal unless we are talking about getting a truly proven TOR guy with no real question marks. Someone like DeGrom, Scherzer, etc.

Yes Castillo is a possible Ace headed into his prime! No to putting Pache or Anderson in the deal.

If I had a personal list, it would read:
    Thor
    Bauer
    Stand pat!

I love those guys and I would put Pache on the deal! Anderson either.

Would you guys consider putting Austin Riley as the center piece in a package for Thor or Bauer?

I would move Riley for a SP, but certainly not a rental.

I say that because I think ATL will try and retain JD for 3B and ATL has two really promising OF prospects that should be ready by the end of 2020.

dont think I am crazy but I wish we could get riley from yall

braves: Mike Minor, Nomar Mazara, and Shawn Kelley

rangers: Austin riley(move him back to 3rd base), ian Anderson , Kolby Allard and another prospect

I dont think the braves would expect that but for the rangers they get a guy that replaces mike minor in the rotation and they can put riley at 3rd base and call calhoun back up to the big to take nomar spot
