    Censorship on Twitter

I'm not a huge twitter user. Most of my tweets get between 0 and 1 like. I've heard conservatives are censored on twitter. It's not a big concern of my mine at all but it happened to me so I thought I would share. Elizabeth Warren was tweeting some long drawn out series of tweets about how racist and horrible Fox News is. I responded to one of them by saying, True, but they are only 1/1024 as bad as @CNN. I didn't think anything of it, it's really not that good of a burn and I thought at least 1024 other people would have already thought of it. Apparently it was really witty because it had 446 likes, 18 retweets and 13 comments in about 3 hours. Then it stopped. Dead. I can no longer view the comments. I can still see the tweet but I'm assuming it is no longer visible to the public. I can't imagine what kind of twitter rules I could have possibly violated considering 90% of what I see there lol. Anyone have something similar happen to you?

I can't see anything wrong with that tweet. Do you mind sharing a link?

Twitter has legit data to support for the majority of the band of the big name bans on the right. In all cases they got several warnings. There is some issue with some people on the far left not being banned for similar behavior, and certainly (and they admit) that their rules are left biased.

But certainly a single tweet going silent without any communication from twitter is not okay (unless it's a bug I guess). When there is a trend in "attack" posts they will auto-delete posts that fit that pattern across the board, but they should tell you they did it.

On the subject of the tweet ... I'm not a conspiracy sort of person but the media, both mass and social, are pushing a divisive message about race and class, as well as a message of society going to hell when things have never been better. It's gotten to the point that people who work in media are not allowing their children to watch the news or consume any social media.

And I have absolutely no idea what can be done about it. We are never going to get Pandora's box closed.

I'm not a fan of censorship on any social media platform. You don't agree or like what someone is saying? Then don't listen/watch.

Do you think a restaurant should be allowed to kick you out if you are standing and shouting profanities?

A restaurant isn't a social media platform but yes, I think a restaurant absolutely should have the right to kick the patron out in that sort of scenario.

Not sure why you're trying to relate the two.

I don't know that this would hide responses to other users, but did you use this feature?
