    Of course they rig it how else do you explain a team like The Pelicans with a superstar player like Anthony Davis landing what could be another super star player?

    For sure, without a doubt, the first pick is rigged. Might be a lottery after that.

    It's the same in nhl though. It's basically the main reason for having a lottery.

    Durring the nhl lockout negotiations it was leaked that bettman would have the power to choose who wins the 1st overall pick each year.
    Frankly, it's smart business. It would be silly to have such an important thing be random like that. It's illogical.
