Who are the best television characters of all time?

For you, who are the best characters from a television program of all time?

Kenny Powers (Eastbound & Down), Cosmo Kramer (Seinfeld), and Noho Hank (Barry) are the first three to come to mind. Paulie Walnuts (The Sopranos), Wolf (Future Man), Kermit the Frog & Rowlf the Dog (The Muppet Show), and Jimmy McNulty (The Wire) came up after thinking about it a little more.

Hard to top Tony Soprano. I'll throw several other iconic ones out there though...Don Draper, Vic Mackey, Walter White, Dale Cooper.

I can't come up with many comedy ones that haven't already been mentioned. Kramer from Seinfeld would be a top one for me. Maybe Frasier? Sam Malone from Cheers?

Most of the characters in The Newsroom, mainly Will McAvoy, MacKenzie, Charlie Skinner. Walter White, Omar Little, Nucky Thompson, Tyrion Lannister, Dr. Walter Bishop are just some.

Yeah Ron Swanson is tough to beat, and Kramer felt like he was the character to take the wacky side character to the next level. I'll add Dale Gribble, Chandler Bing, Dwight Shrute, Fresh Prince, Red Foreman, Barry Goldberg, Rose Nylund, and Wile E Coyote
