    Retiring Numbers

People have been talking about retiring numbers lately. I am against it!! There are plenty of numbers that retired yet that could be. Then what we start seeing triple digits. That would be pretty dumb. Some numbers that could be retired for the Vikings that are not or that I am not sure if they are, 22 Paul Krause- leads the NFL in career interceptions, Randy Moss, Cris Carter, John Randle, Randle McDaniel, you could list a few more. Whats your opinion on retired numbers.

We should have retired 84 the same day Randy Moss retired from football.

No number should be retired imo. No one player is bigger than the game itself. I get it and totally understand why it's done but there are only so many numbers. I think being inducted into the HOF or in the Vikings case the Ring of Honor is sufficient enough.

Retiring numbers should be a very special circumstance. Korey Stringer, for example. It gets tough once you get into who deserves their number retired based off results. I mean you could retire 93 (John Randle), 81 (Carl Eller), 84 (Randy Moss), 56 (Chris Doleman), and 22 (Paul Krause) among others. That's too many numbers.
    2019 Vikings Draft :
    Round 1: Garrett Bradbury C N.C. State
Round 2: Irv Smith TE Alabama
Round 3: Alex Mattison RB Boise State
Round 4: Dru Samia G Oklahoma
Round 5: Cameron Smith LB USC
Round 6: Armon Watts DT Arkansas
Round 6: Marcus Epps S Wyoming
Round 6: Oli Udoh OT Elon
Round 7: Kris Boyd CB Texas
Round 7: Dillon Mitchell WR Oregon
Round 7: Olabisi Johnson WR Colorado State
Round 7: Austin Cutting LS Air Force

I really have no opinion, but Iím leaning towards against retiring numbers.

Retire the number....just wait a few years and let people start using it again...
    gotta love 'referential' treatment
