    Greatest movie scene

    So, what scene from any movie, do you consider the best you have seen, and why?

    Some new ones that come to mind

    Dark Knight Rises - Bane takes over the plane (It's a crazy scene that uses a lot of practical effects that where never done before)
    Baby Driver - Opening car chase (Music and chase blend so well)
    Captain America: The Winter Soldier - Highway fight (Great gun battle, onto a great choreographed fight onto a great reveal at the end)

    the chive had a thread on this, gave me the idea

    they had one of mine (the opening scene of Inglorious Basterds)

    A few others, for me:

    Field of Dreams- when Ray's father pulls of his mask and they talk/have a catch to close the movie
    Glory- Trip is punished for sneaking off
    The Deer Hunter-Russian Roulette
    There Will Be Blood-the milkshake scene

    and one last, selfish one for me- Moana, the "Where You Are" scene. Having a little girl is a dream come true, and this reminds me of holding her while she watches and sings nonsense

    I was a huge DDL fan before I saw that movie, but left that flick convinced he is the greatest actor to ever walk the planet.

    The Darth Vader battle scene towards the end of Rogue One. For all the years of Star Wars whether it was the old EU or the movies we were always told how badass Vader was and this scene just set it into stone.

    Another Star Wars scene is the one in Return of the Jedi where Palpatine is force lightning Luke and Vader is standing there watching and even though he has a mask on you can tell the kind of torment he is going through and then the final decision to turn his back on Palpatine and through him down the reactor.

    Untouchables scene in the Train station Stone is laying on the ground holding the baby carriage aiming the revolver at his target, who is holding a hostage. That shot, amazing.

    The whole opening battle sequence of Saving Private Ryan, it just feels like you are watching an actual film reel from the D-day invasion.
