It'll be up to Hudson to make the necessary adjustments against a Brewers team that chased him in the fifth inning of his first start this season. Hudson allowed three home runs in that game and was especially susceptible to left-handed hitters.

The key for Peralta is getting past the first inning. In two poor starts against the Cardinals and Angels, he threw 39 and 42 pitches in the first. On April 3 against the Reds, he threw nine pitches and went on to work eight scoreless innings.

Efficiency issues continue to plague Flaherty, but he was able to finish six innings in his last start en route to his first win of the season. When Flaherty pitched at Miller Park in March, he gave up four runs in 4 1/3 innings.

Woodruff wasn't at his most efficient against the Cardinals in his season debut (100 pitches in five innings), but he got through it allowing two runs on six hits in a Brewers win.

Wacha delivered the best performance by a Cards starter in their four-game series at Miller Park to open the year. In it, he limited the Brewers to one run over six innings. He has not lost a game in five career starts at Miller Park.

Burnes is the ninth Major Leaguer since 1908 to allow at least three homers in three consecutive starts, and he'll look to avoid becoming the first to make it four games in a row when he faces the Cardinals, one of the thee teams that touched him up.

Goldie and DeJong going back to back is a good way to start this series!

Crap! Fantastic catch by Cain. I don't think it was clearing the wall, but it was close.

Wow... O'Neal looked bad defensively there. Got a late jump, and an absolutely horrid throw.

First, I hope O'Neal is ok... pulled for arm soreness.

Second, Drew Robinson looked horrible. 3 just flat out whiffs vs. pitches in the middle of the plate. Not good.

Wow... Hudson is not getting any calls. So, he has to elevate and is getting hammered.

This umpire is absolutely HORRID. Calling Goldie out on a "foul tip" that missed his bat by a foot!!!!!!! Insanity!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again... it is WAY past time for digital home plate umpires. I'm sick and tired of them negatively affecting the game on a DAILY basis. It is pointless to have them.

    STOP PITCHING TO YELICH!

7 hr 21 rbi for the season

6 hr, 16 rbi in 4+ games vs stl.

guy behind him might be dangerous too but hes batting below .200

pretty sure its not just mayers

Can't walk him with runners on 1st and 2nd.

Mayers sucks. Even though his era was low... his whip was 1.435 (that's going up too). Stop using our crappiest pitchers to get out the heart of the order.

Mayers is trash. Why is he even on the roster?
