Good players, experienced and that would deliver production at a good price in short deals.
Wouldnít surprise me if Vince finished his career in Toronto

Don't disagree. However bringing him (or someone similar) in pushes Hutch. I just don't want it to only be Hutch. I would be much hapier of it was somebody else. But jackson is a 3 who at least would provide another larger defender and make Hutch not just think the job is his.

It might not be a bad year to let Hutch get a lot of minutes, but we also need to sign a wing.

Preferably one that can play the 3 and 4. I think bringing back Seldon should be enough with Valentine as our Backup SGs.

Don't think it should be that hard to find a back-up wing to push Hutch. Hell, Valentine's still here, right? Could see He's really getting in shape this summer, and his second year, so hopefully he does great. Didn't get much of a chance last year with the injury, but still has a year of the NBA experience.Timothe probably sticks, maybe Blakeney too.

a lot dont like, including myself the flaws that have came out about butler but would it be impossible to get him on a 1 and player option this year, give him our cap space then give him a brand new deal when he opts out next year?

What a Meh Trade for Atlanta, and a solid one for the Blazers. Blazers get a good defender and solid role player on an expiring, for Turner who is worthless. Not really sure what the motivation for the Hawks was though?
