The Mets will have to win out to even have a chance.

    So you're saying there's a chance?

In all seriousness, I agree. Brewers have cake walk schedule. It sucks as not just a Mets fan but as a baseball fan, because they are likely the easiest out in any WC scenario. They don't really have an ace and they are missing their MVP player.

Mets had their chances, a ton of them. All those late blown games. The six-game losing streak to Atlanta and Chicago. As a manager, Mickey reminds me of Tom Hagen. He's just not a good war-time consigliere.

Highly unlikely but I'm still watching. They're entertaining, have starters that (usually) give them a shot to win every day and they have the slimmest of shots on Friday Sept. 20.

Yes, Milwaukee has the easiest schedule, playing all remaining games against losing teams. But:
-3 of those games are home, where they have a.590 record
-6 are away, where they are .493
-They've owned Pittsburgh but they've played .500 against the other two.
-They don't have a true ace and other than Hader, their pitching is suspect, especially notable for the final 3 games at Coors Field.
    -Yelich is out
    -Cain's ankle is barking.
    Who ****in' knows?

All very valid points, and basically what I said earlier. Nothing is a given except maybe Hader and no Yelich. Thats a given. They could explode with teams that would love to play spoiler, then again same is said tor our opponents. Ya' think the Braves want the Mets to make it? Think again. They despise us and vice versa.
Maybe we will eventually get tired of losing to them and we will have the competitors edge (if we are still in it).
Brewers have been hot for a while now, and especially so since Yelich went down. They came together to cover for him. They are due for a little bit more losing than winning. Might be just enough so we can pass them. Just saying. Our Mets REFUSE to die, and don't wanna hear any fat lady singing, anytime soon. Like I said, she has laryngitis. Out for the season.

Pretty sure they know that or close to it. Even bonehead Callaway is managing closer to the vest. Kind of.
