AA brought up a lot how people for OíDay was traded for last year and that he would be a big boost to the pen. He might be right but betting on OíDay to be the guy to help carry this pen was very risky. Heís 36 and coming off major surgery. Heís hurt again before the season even starts. I just donít understand how anyone could have watched this bullpen struggle to much last year and make no significant additions. I can understand the starting rotation because there are so many talented arms you donít want to block but the bullpen is the exact opposite. If DOB is right and the hold up with signing Kimbrel is the Braves donít want to give a guaranteed third year then someone needs to be fired. 3 years for a player like Kimbrel is absolutely worth it. Especially when you look at this roster.

Not like he needs it, but Kimbrel is getting some serious leverage by the Braves' bullpen being what they were last year.

However, Kimbrel is still just one pitcher. Rest of the pen would have to hold a lead in order for him to be a factor.

From a selfish point of view the 3 guys (Swanson, Albies, and Acuna) I really want to play well and make up the top of our line up, all contributed offensively. JT looked good for a stretch and then not. But he did pitch well enough for us to win this game. The BP didnít look good as a hole, however one guy canít fix it. It will be a combination of getting guys healthy (Minter) and getting guys reps imo.

Acuna is on a record setting pace. 2BB today, if he keeps this up heíll set the record at 324!😁 and 162 steals!😁 All while batting .500!😁..... looking for positives fellas.

Some good news is Teheranís fast ball averaged 91.3 and topped out at 93.7. Iím not expecting 2014 or 2016 #ís this year but his start was positive IMO.

I did think JT did well. It was the Opener, in PHI, against a totally retooled lineup. That Philly lineup is for real. If JT pitches like that all year he will be fine.

    Lol thanks for doing it!

Big hit from Dansby there! He has looked good so far this year (of course he looked very good early last year too)

Swanson is putting some good swings on the ball. Keep it up! I'd love for him to finally get it right.

Dansby has looked good but Donaldson has not. Hoping he can show something soon.

Wilson impressive there working back from 3-0 against Hoskins to end the inning. Great play by Dansby to get it too

This lineup is just a little to much for Wilson right now I think.

Didn't feel like Wilson was throwing with a lot of confidence today.

Bowman tweeted he barely used his slider after using it a lot during the spring.
