This bullpen man. So disappointing. Soroka didnít pitch a gem but Iíll take that start any night against this Dodger lineup. This bullpen stinks and itís going to cost us any chance at the World Series.

This is embarrassing. Newk and Blevins so far have record two outs. They gave up 4 hits (3 homers), 2 walks, and 5 runs.

I know weíre stuck with the guys we have but at this point why not give Weigel or Walker a shot? They canít do any worse.

Bowman said Inciarte could barely walk. Sounds significant.

Itís a tough call..... if you need defense, you call up Pache. If you need offense, you call up Waters. With the way our BP is pitching, you can make an argument for either.

Braves beat writers made it sound like Duvall will be called back up. I would rather give Waters a chance. 10 games with Gwinnett heís hitting .341 with an .836 OPS. His biggest issue has been strike outs. 15 in 10 games but itís not like Duvall has been doing much better lately in the bigs. Maybe Waters can provide a spark. Even if itís only a few weeks like when Riley and Duvall were called up but even a small streak will help until Markakis is ready to return.

The problem is that every guy in the bullpen right now have had some sort of dominance for a portion of the season, by times they been so good that you have to guess they will find their ways again, maybe not Blevins but he's the second lefty.

Anyway, we can't and won't beat the Dodgers, our best chance is to face the team out of the NLC and hope for the Nats? With Scherzer, Strasburg and Corbin beat LAD. We face Ryu tonight so it's a certain lose, need to win tomorrow.

I agrre, I'm not sure, but since Duvall was sent to AAA yesterday, don't they need to wait a certain amount of days to call him up? The only issue to calling up Waters is that he's not on the 40 man roster, taking a quick look to it, this is what I would do: Grant Dayton was supposedly out a month, but I haven't heard anything from him, if we can move him to the 60 days IL then problem solved. If he's close to a minor league assigment, then DFA Blevins who's been worth -0.2 fWAR on the year and call Minter until Dayton is ready or he can show he belongs while sending Wilson back down. Or heck, DFA Tomlin too and keep Wilson.

Reports this morning is he will probably miss the rest of the season, maybe be back by playoffs.

Billy Hamilton got DFAd the other day... Least would be an elite defender to have to play CF if Acuna needs a day off.

Imagine if our lineup consist of: Flowers, Hechavarria, Hamilton and the pitcher. 40 man spots are crucial at this point, if Ender is out for season we need a longterm solution, Waters is our guy. If he can't handle MLB then you go with Duvall to try to keep us afloat until Markakis can play again.

Things are getting real messy real quick. Usually the time of year you wanna be rolling or starting to. Adversely, we are driving full speed to the edge of a cliff.

Duvall recalled. If he doesnít start hitting I hope he has a short leash, especially if Waters keeps hitting. AA said theyíll take the best 25 guys they have so weíll see soon if he really means that.
