I would trade for MadBum. He's a lefty that we desperately need. He is not the same dominant pitcher from 3 years ago but he is still pitching at a high level. His playoff success speaks for itself and he will instantly raise the bar for the entire pitching staff. Its a 1 year rental but the 'risk reward' it worth it. Plan B is Keuchel.

Can't push the panic button too early in a season that has 162 games. lots of ups and downs during an MLB grind. But I'd say the pitching has been much more of a concern than they expected. It's baseball so even a great offense is gonna come up empty at times. But we are stringing together too many less then stellar innings on the mound. I'd guess if things continue to be choppy there Klentak will pull the trigger on something so as not to lose too much momentum.

Phils and Mets both showing interest in Rangers lefty Mike Minor. He's been pitching lights out in this early season.

Caesar Hernandez sucks. This team is a joke right now. Kapler better get his crap together.

Needed a big win last night. Hopefully, they can get back on track vs the Marlins this weekend. Four game sweep would be nice but I'd settle for 3 out of 4.

imagine if there was a closer out there that could have gone out and got us 4 outs tonight or about 9 other times this year..... its seriously getting old.

Seriously thought...At what point do you say, "Kimbrel could net us 'X' amount of wins (say about 20 at the current pace!) so let's get him."?

I think everyone is waiting until after draft so you donít lose draft pick compensation for both Kimbrel and Keuchel. Should be well paid at that point.

Exactly, this happens almost every year where a player/pitcher who gets a QO waits until after the draft to sign. Its why I absolutely hate that teams lose draft picks for signing QO players/pitchers.

They should just do what the NFL does and you get comp picks for losing players that are offset by FAs you sign.

They need to do something about this whole team. They need at least 1 more quality starter if not 2. Hopefully Robertson, Hunter, and Arano coming back fixes the bullpen. Also need some players to step it up at the plate.

Eickhoff has been great, nice to see him rebound. He's probably not this good long term but he can give you 3-4 starters production.
