    My perfect offseason:

Sign Cole: 6 year 200 Million
Sign Pomeranz: 2 year 20 Million
Sign Cruz: 1 year 15 Million

Resign Abreu: 3 year 75 Million
Resign Nova: 1 year 7.5 Million

    Call up Madrigal
    Call up Robert

    Kopech Timeline:
    March-May: Late Inning Stopper
June-July: Stretch Out as Long Reliever
August-September: Insert Into Rotation while Trading Reynaldo for an upgrade elsewhere.

    Dunning Timeline:
Start Him in AAA, and let him stretch himself out, and only bring him up if we need a starter late in the year.
    September Callup for Pitching Depth.

    Rodon Timeline:
Start him on the DL and bring him along slowly. Probably let him rehab the entire season.

    Vaughn Timeline:
Same as Madrigal's 2019. Start at High A, Finish at AAA.

Man if we can knock the Indians out of the playoffs, that's the type of strong finish that will be remembered by FA's in the offseason. Like I tell all my friends who are Indians fans, "Y'all peaked. We haven't even started our run yet"

If it's going to cost that much we should've traded him.

    I see more of a 3/45 extension.

I mean he played on a bargain bin contract for us to this point. This is his last shot at good money. I can see the Sox rewarding him. Especially as consistent he is and the role he undoubtedly played in bringing Robert here.

Although I guess looking at the kind of contracts given out last year, Cutch’s 3 year 50 is pretty in line with Jose’s value.

He’s definitely Worth more than the 9 years 125 million IMO though. He was a steal for us.

Yeah, I agree, I think the sox will pay him slightly more than market value. 3/50-60 with a 4th year option sounds about right.

That's how I see it. I didn't do my research to see the kind of contracts for players of his caliber last year. Borderline Stars that are at the backend of their prime. If Jose walked more, and was more of a .300 AVG/.400 OBP guy, he'd be getting big money.

Just thinking things over and we do need some outfield help (RF) and wondering what would it take to get one of these 3 in a trade.

Mookie Betts- A top prospect and some tier 2 prospects
Michael Conforto- Mets could be shopping him and/or Nimmo
Starling Marte- Pirates could look to move him

I really like Conforto since he's LH and can play all 3 OF spots

Betts will cost an absolute ton more than that. Think you need to go back and look at his numbers. Impending FA or not.

    2019 Chicago White Sox IGT

I'd rather see us spend cash over prospects to fill out the roster though. Rendon, Martinez, even Puig could all be had just for good money. Could even steal Castellanos from the north side of money is an issue for them.

I like Castellanos. Mookie I’d wait out and see if he hit FA the next year. Not sure Mets would move Conforto. He was a big part in their 2nd half surge, and they have a good chance to compete for at least a WC next year.
