My 1st and foremost priority would be throwing big money at Gerrit Cole. 6 year 200 million should get it done.

Agree on Cole. Get it done.
I like our chances of getting a RF too. Stone has been pining on air for Calhoun, but I am not sold on signing a free agent unless he is a premium talent.

i am OK with Eloy in LF because he has speed and gets to balls hit near the foul line. I was watching Cubs at Brew Crew tonight and Schwarber lost the game because he could not run down a fly ball. Dude is a tank.

Not sure why cub fans even showed face in Milwaukee so soon after the Bear loss.

Can’t wait to see more of Dylan Covey and maybe more of Manny Banuelos too!

    Abreu
    Moncada
    Anderson
Eloy making it interesting (at least) at the end.

2020 should be very (interesting) for sure - get some pitching!

They’ll lowball him just like Machado

Cole is going to sign with the Angels....He grew up a few miles from the Angels stadium in Anaheim...They are not about to waste Trouts prime without getting him help.

The Sox will have to trade for a pitcher with control...

If our infield is really set, and our outfield is 2/3 of the way there, then a lot of our position player prospects are expendable and could be traded for pitching or lower level depth consisting of some lottery ticket types. There is no way we are competing for top talent in free agency. We may get some solid players but not top tier. That will have to come from trades.

I could see the Sox over paying for a bigger name player on the decline, that you are paying more for name than production. That is a real possibility as long as KW is still around.

Thought I would stop in and say hi. I'm hoping for less than 90 losses this year......and a busy offseason.....

I’m hoping the Sox lose less than 80 games next season, and we have an interesting Sept 2020.

2020's greatest need is PITCHING! a halfway decent RF would be nice too.

We need to gain about 50 HR over what we got combined from RF and DH this year.
And we will need a back-up catcher.
Collins can't catch worth a lick and no, he is not going to be a DH on a competitive team.

Lucas Giolito being shut down for the season with a mild lat strain. He had an excellent year, looking forward to him next year and being consistent.

No point in risking Giolito this year, he did enough. Having said that, who knows what they are going to trot out there to take his place. I have my hopes set on 70 wins, but a top 10 pick should be the goal.

The hitters; Moncada, Abreu, Anderson and Eloy keep doing what they do.

Collins should play every game for the rest of the season, his future is very much in doubt.
