If you guys like food science, check out Heston Blumenthalís show(s). He owns The Fat Duck in the UK and is widely regarded as a top molecular gastronomy chef who can cook in more traditional ways and give you the why behind the process.

Yes my mom would always record the Food Network (long before DVR was a thing) and we would watch it. They still have some pretty good shows but every other show seems to be a competition show now rather than how it was where most shows were teaching you how to make this or that.

Ok today we have asparagus cooked with onions and mushrooms, we roasted tomatoes, melted a little mozz with it and made a honey balsamic drizzle to put on top. We also threw in a little grilled chicken. I think a was a little heavy handed with the honey balsamic topping. Its a good meal but it reads a little better then it taste

Agree. I couldn't stand that pizza when I was a kid, and now that I'm a pizza snob, hell no. I had it at an airport last year (Hartsfield I believe) as a quick connection lunch and it was horrible.

Definitely not the best but for me it was classic. Thatís the best way I can describe it. When we went to the mall, it was a good bet we would grab a slice or two for lunch. Iíve definitely had better pizza and specifically NY style. I use my old boss as a barometer. He is like Dbroncs, a pizza snob but from NY. So if he stamps it as good, itís good.

If youíre ever in the right spot in DC, check out Cafe Cantina. They make AMAZING pizza. They have a couple locations Iíve been to and both of them were good. One near Metro Center and another along the waterfront by Georgetown.

Lunch is something I never forget. My stomach would revolt if I did. Now breakfast, that's one I can take or leave.

Nothing wrong with JJ's. Number 5 with peppers is my go to.

I just had 3 shrimp tacos and a milk stout

Shrimps are hella nasty. They're like disgusting little insects. I wonder why in Judaism it says not to eat them but in Islam it don't say nothing.

Had leftover BBQ chicken and broccoli for lunch.

Went over to the grocery store after, making a ribeye, mushrooms, lobster tail, and some zucchini for dinner. Surf n turf baby. Ribeye is $5 off per pound at my local grocer - so I'm going to eat one every other day until next Wednesday.
