“It’s about winning,” Stoudemire said. “You win, you’re going to get on national TV. Simple. In Phoenix, we won — Western Conference finals three, four years, playoffs every year. We won. If you don’t win, nobody really wants to see you.”

Lol ya. The crowd was amazing. It's been a while since I've seen them like that. When this Leafs team turns it on, they are so hard to stop. It's just frustrating that they aren't ready to go from the start.

Nice to see Matthews pop a couple in. Can't believe he has 34 goals despite what some say is a a down yr to his standards. The kid is special.

Here's something to watch after the playoffs.. The last couple weeks it seems like Babcock is taking shots at management about how the team is built. Talking about how you're supposed to build depth and so on. Where was this the three years when Lou was running the team? Because Lou didn't exactly help the D out in his time here. We overpaid for Brian Boyle and Plekanec and ignored the D. I get the feeling things aren't exactly roses between Babcock and Dubas. First round exit or not I'd bet almost anything that the coach's job is safe but still something to watch. I mean this is a coach who played Zaitsev now over 3 seasons with Rielly, Gardiner and now Muzzin. Somehow the stats those 3 put up (analytical or your average joe stats) dip below their career average everytime they play with Zaitsev. Every time Rielly plays with somebody not named Hainsey or Zaitsev his numbers trend more positively. GM's fault? The coach favouring vets to a fault? Or a combo of both?

I go with choice c. Maybe even choice d) team just isn't ready yet.

Way better 2nd. Some of the turnovers are awful though. Muzzin ugly 1st.

Was at the game tonight, had a blast! Matthews and Nylander are TOO GOOD to separate.
