Getting a better backup than Daniel says a lot. It really means they’re not sold on Mitch either. They just can’t be. But they can’t come out and say “Mitch was terrible. He won’t be starting next season.” Not when you just traded up for him. Nagy met and scouted Mitch before he took this job. He wouldn’t have taken it if he didn’t think Mitch was good. They were both wrong and they know it. They’re going to sign someone who they could win games with. Mitch probably gets 3-4 games to make one hell of a turnaround. Basically what happened with mariota this year. I also think they draft a QB somewhere too.

It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if they signed Daniel again, not one bit. There is never any urgency with this franchise. Its always keep the course, be patient, wait and see. Then when its too late they eventually blow it up and start from scratch again, hire their new crew of bums. Rinse, cycle, repeat. The biggest problem is up above. McCaskey and Ted “job for life” Phillips are completely incompetent and In an organization of zero accountability it doesn’t matter. Chicago sports teams in general are full of incompetence with no accountability.

I actually think the only thing worse than bringing back Chase would be to bring in Matt Moore.

literally a diferent shade of unstartable Brown. and this seems to make sense with who we hired at OC.

QB coach is the role DeFilippo should be in. He’s not an OC. It’s a good hire.

Read something from jahns that Ragone was responsible for some of trubisky’s best plays. If that’s true, Jesus Christ....what the hell does Nagy even do here? He literally only is involved in the pass game, and the QB coach was responsible for Mitch’s best plays lol

Not sure how anyone could complain about this. Good surprising hire.
