    But you could also say they were looking for some depth at the big man position. You buyout Lopez we only have one healthy center. Kanter prob looked at to replace R Lo so they could let him go.

    Quite possibly. I remember back in like 2011 or something Gar said that they talked to every team at the deadline about every player on their respective rosters. But yeah, Kanter could have been looked at as a possible replacement for Lopez.

    At this point we aren't going to buy out Rolo. We should probably just bring him back for the minimum next year.

    Dont depress me with reality.

    Its going to be really depressing when We draft 6th because we keep trying and the hawks take the 4th spot. Then some team behind us jumps us and sudenly we go from a great chance at top 3 to another mid Loto role player.

    So far this has been an excellent trade. Solidified a need in small forward. Got rid of a player who was not being used in Parker. In 8 games the teams flow is much better. Spacing is better and Otto is average 19+ points a game and hit at a great 3 point clip. Those numbers may/will go down, but for 8 games it's been an A+ trade for the Bulls
