Sign Dzingel now and pair those two together. Talk about a tough *** line to play against.

Wow, so lehner is the starter.

This could open the window for one more season

This is totally out of left field. Not sure what this means as far as Crawford or his health is concerned.

It means they’re gonna go with a duo. I think this is a smart move. You’re gonna have a healthy and focused Vezina candidate in there every night.

I like the moves we’ve made. This team has more defensive ability than last year. They definitely have more bite.

We just have to pray these young Dmen come up and make a good impact.

I don't even know, you have to have lehner as the clear one. I'm think 50 to 32 or so?

Honestly think it could go either way. We all know how good Crawford is when he’s healthy. If they’re both what they should be, we have two top five ish goalies arguably. Definitely top ten. That’ll be nice throughout the season.

The Hawks couldn't go into another season depending on Crawford. Ward and Delia were definitely not the answer.

Grabbing Lehner sounds good to me.

Delia is still young though and showed enough promise that he could be a reliable #2 goalie. His .908 save% looks awful, but I doubt Crawford would have been much better. Our entire d was pitiful. I'm glad we aren't forced to rely on Delia, but if Crawford goes down again, I wouldn't be disappointed in a combo of Lehner/Delia.

Saw some people hating on the Dach pick. Yes, I wanted Bowen Byram at #3, but Dach is nothing to scoff at. He's a big RH C that has elite hockey IQ and passing, an underrated shot, a strong defensive game (very good stickcheck), and is able to play in all situations. He also is an above average skater for his size. No, he's not ever gonna win a fastest skater competition, but he's more than able to keep up even in today's faster NHL. Getzlaf is a comparable, but he skates better than Getzlaf. Scheifele is a closer comparable IMO.
