I'm going to say no chance Panarin returns. He's realistically going to command around $9 million per year. Personally, I think he's going to the Rangers.

I would rather have a guy like Duchene or Stone personally. I love Panarin but the price is just too much and this team needs more from the defensive side anyway. Not sure we need ~30 million tied up in 3 forwards.

Hawks recalled G Colin Delia from Rockford on an emergency basis.

Hawks donít play until Thurs, so this seems to be out of the blue.

Delia was recalled after Ward has been announced to miss the next 7-10 days due to a lower body injury

Hart Trophy finalists for NHL MVP:

Nikita Kucherov (TB), Connor McDavid (EDM)...and Sidney Crosby? Lmao

Kane got robbed. Way better than Crosby this season

no question due to the hawks missing the playoffs. Dumb.

I like this move. Good positional defenseman. He can play as high as a very solid 2nd pairing role. Interestingly, the blueline is starting to get a bit crowded. Keith, Seabrook, Murphy, Gustafsson, Maatta are all locks barring a trade. Jokiharju will be given a shot to make the opening roster again. Beaudin and Boqvist could be stepping in soon. Really makes you wonder if Stan is thinking draft day trade here. Murphy is on a moveable contract and has never really found his game in Chicago. I would think that this probably means the Hawks are, even if only by a slight margin, more likely to pass on Byram for help up front. Turcotte?

It's turcotte all the way for me. I wouldn't be disappointed in Bowen if we unload a blue liner or three. He's easily better than Jokiharju, Beaudin, and Boqvist.

Byram or bust for me. Heís pretty easily the third best prospect in this draft it sounds like to me. Donít get cute. Pick the best guy.

Turcotte for me as well. Best all around player that will be available at 3 IMO.

Like others have said, wouldn't be upset with Byram at all but Turcotte kind of has some Toews vibes.

As expected, Hughes goes #1 to Devils and Kakko goes #2 to Rangers.

Now the Blackhawks are on the clock
