Wow Cam Reddish. Heís got an incredible shot form. I wonít be disappointed with him as the consolation prize if we donít land 1 or 2.

Thatís normal, he basically took on a new roll when he became coach and as such, they usually give increase in pay. Regular jobs do this too. Now if they extended his years...that would be something to worry about.

How he could negotiate a raise after losing by like 200 points is just amazing. Must have a great agent. Ii know it's standard to raise his salary this year, but who is going to hire him away from us? Why he has any guaranteed money for next year is beyond me.

This guy shouldnít even get an interview for a HC gig and the bulls give him more money. Maybe thereís some type of strategy to this move that Iím not aware of....but you donít reward a guy for being terrible unless thereís some type of added flexibility in his contract. Clear as day this guy isnít a HC.

Didnít this new deal make it more likely we replace him next year? At least thatís how it sounds.

ďEvery time you enter into a coaching search or whatever you want to call it, you expect it to be long-lasting, and you work together toward those ends,Ē Paxson said. ďSo Jimís going to be our coach.

This Paxson quote made me laugh. John, you have to actually interview candidates to conduct a search. They havenít had a real coaching search since Thibs.

The bulls front office are actually revolutionaries....they take the least qualified guys and give them security and untouchable status. Itís going as well as any rational person would think. Good work, guys! Give yourselves a raise!

Itís way to early to tell but it seems like the Mavs found a potential star in Luka. Maybe not elite level but definitely a guy you can give the ball to at the end of the game. Meanwhile, we conintue to draft nice solid pieces, which are what guys like Wendall, Lauri and Portis are. Solid pieces but all rely on others IMO. How do these other teams find em and we struggle.

Maybe because we didn't have the pick to get Luka. The Mavs traded the number 5 pick and next years 1st for Doncic. They weren't going to accept our 7th and next years 1st, and I wouldn't have trade more then that, nor would I have traded that in the 1st place.

We don't even know how good WCJ is going to be yet. You think when he's 22-23 years old he's still going to be getting in foul trouble and getting overpowered by the bigs in the league? I highly doubt it. He's one of the youngest players in the league and has showed great promise at times, and has struggled at times.

You say "how do teams find guys like this and we struggle" as if we had the 2nd pick and took Carter before Luka lol. We had the 7th and you can argue we got the best player at that spot. You can also say that Carter is having a better start to his career then Bamba, Trae, Bagley, and Jackson. Knox is the only one you can argue over Carter after our pick. That's a pretty damn good job drafting by us.

In 2017 the only person you can argue over Lauri is Mitchell. No one today would have taken Isaac, Jackson, Ball, Fultz over Lauri.

In 2017 with pick 7, we got the 4th best player in the draft in Lauri, trailing Mitchell/Fox/Tatum. Kuzma maybe you can argue it but he's also 23 already so I doubt Lauri isn't better than him today in 2 years.

In 2018 with pick 7, we got 3rd to 5th best rookie depending on how you rank it. Doncic/Ayton/Carter/JJ/Knox/Bagley/Trae.

That's 2 years that we go above our value and only left maybe 1 player that might end up better on the table. That's 2 wins in a row for us in the draft. You can't assume trades. Especially when the trade made to get Luka was better then anything we could have and should have offered.

As for Portis? Who is currently better then him from that draft? Towns, Russell, Porzingis, WCS, Booker, Oubre, Rozier. Oubre and Rozier you can argue a case for Portis being better.

All of those guys went top 16. 4 went top 5. Portis went 22 lol. We won the **** out of our last 3 drafts. We cannot complain about that. We can complain about plenty of other things, but that isn't one of them.

We also can't complain about The Butler trade. We could have kept him and never got Dunn/Lauri/Wendell/Lavine, and he would have left us and destroyed our locker room further.

We got a 1st round pick out of Niko who didn't fit into our future.

We got 2 2nd rounders and a decent expiring young player in Seldon for Holiday, who only had half way decent numbers because he was on a terrible team and got every possible minute to pad the stats. He's currently 0-9 from 3, and 4-22 from the field. He has zero steals in 5 games and the Grizzlies are 1-4 with him so far.

We can ***** about the Taj trade. We can ***** about trading up for Dougy McSucky. We can ***** about taking Teague. We can ***** about taking Valentine. We can ***** about signing Felicio to a 4 year deal.

Since trading Butler, we can't really complain about the rebuild yet. We fired the coach everyone wanted to fire. We won every draft. We won every trade. We are currently in the best possible position to potentially land a generational talent in the 2019 draft. We are still out there trying to trade away all the players that won't be apart of our future for more future assets. Overall we can't really complain at all.

So you think we have a good team? Because Iím seeing a bunch of pieces who donít fit well together, arenít coached well and none of them are star calibur worthy of leading a team to the playoffs.
