    TRENT WILLIAMS
    T, WASHINGTON REDSKINS
    Oct 28, 2019, 3:06 PM ET

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Redskins are open to trading LT Trent Williams.

Williams has been holding out all season. Per Rapoport, the Redskins "have begun the process of looking at potential suitors, and the Browns have been one. Unclear how high they set the asking price, but theyíll at least listen." One of the league's best offensive tackles when healthy should fetch a more-than-decent haul on the trade market. The bigger question is why it took the 1-7 Redskins so long to come to this conclusion.

Looks like they have a second round pick on the table for him as well. Would wonder what our offers would look like. He'd be a huge upgrade to our line but we need a guard more than a tackle.

We generally suck at 1st rd picks, so trade our 1st for Trent and a 5th and Bob's your uncle

The Vikings have about 750k of cap space. Itís basically impossible to acquire Williams.

that would be the only way to make it work probably and the Redskins would be dumb to take Rhodes who is at a low with a high salary left. They already have Josh Norman lol.

It's very unlikely (For a ton of reasons) we acquire Trent but not impossible. We could trade players and picks or just players to free up more cap space in the deal.

well, basically nobody traded anybody in the end, and Williams remains a Redskin
and Harris remains a Bronco, Anderson a Jet, Green a Bengal, etc etc etc

but hey, Talib's a Dolphin, all but guaranteeing he'll remain hurt all season then be a FA

    DESHAUN WATSON
    QB, HOUSTON TEXANS
    Jan 28, 2021, 9:56 AM ET

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Deshaun Watson has requested to be traded from the Texans.

It's been long reported that Watson wants out of Houston, but this is the first time his request has been considered "official." Schefter adds that Watson actually hasnít spoken to new Texans general manager Nick Caserio nor executive Jack Easterby since the former's decision has already been made. With a no-trade clause baked into his deal, the 25-year-old will ultimately choose his own suitor on the market. One after another, Houston's dumbfounding decisions and cronyism in the front office transparently highlight an organization that has no direction or intention of winning in either the near future or long-term, resulting in this decision. Whomever lands Watson will merely take on a team-friendly $10.54 million cap hit in 2021 and have its franchise cornerstone locked up under center through the 2025 season.

That's because this was originally the 2019 FA thread. There is a 2020 FA thread on the second page of this forum.

That thread was just for Minnesota Vikings free agents. At least that's what it appeared

I wonder if Cousins, Hunter and 2 first round picks would be enough to entice Houston to trade us Watson?

(I'm well aware the Vikings probably won't even try to get him but I like to live in hypotheticals)
