I really still think we need a WR 3 AND I also dont think Westbrook is the only option. I feel like Rick is going to swing a trade for someone. I still think Miami has guys that will become available as camps progress. Potential Julio or Rodgers trades could impact that as well.
I wouldnít mind sending a pick to the jets for Jamison Crowder

I agree, I love Fitz but he won't produce what they need. I am sure Rick has looked into Alshon Jeffrey and it won't surprise me if they look at him over the next couple months since Rick has tried to get him on more than one occasion including the draft.

We'll see what they do but after pulling off a complete 180 with the CB group I have a feeling Rick isn't done yet. Not sure who we can go after via trade but there are always surprised trades and deals around this time of year.

I'd take Fitz just for what he'd offer in the locker room and sideline....anything he'd do on the field would be gravy

Breeland will count 2.7 against the cap. Currently have about 11.8 million in cap space. Plenty of space to sign a WR and pass rusher and still have a chunk to roll over to next season.

I know you've probably said this before on here but any ideas who we would be looking at?

Getting Breeland that cheap makes our overpay on Patrick Peterson look better. It sounds better to say we're paying Peterson and Breeland a max of 13 million combined.

On paper the secondary looks solid and deep:

    CB: Patrick Peterson
    S: Harrison Smith
    S: Xavier Woods
    NB: Mack Alexander
    CB: Bashaud Breeland/Cam Dantzler

Harrison Hand has supposedly looked good in camp so far and had a few moments last year. Who knows what will happen with Gladney but if somehow he plays this year our depth is even stronger.

Doogie has said we've been interested in Atkins for a while and we've also had contact with Westbrook. Atkins has a check up with a Dallas team doctor on July 1 so we might see him sign after he gets the green light medically. Westbrook is recovering from a torn ACL so who knows when he'll sign.

Really need another lineman that can get to the QB who y'all got?

    Everson Griffin
    Melvin Ingram
    Justin Houston
    Olivier Vernon
    Sheldon Richardson
    Geno Atkins

Iíll take any of those guys. If weíre going with an edge rusher my pick would be Houston but if weíre looking for another tackle iíd go with Atkins. Richardson is more effective against the run and we already have 2 elite run defenders in Tomlinson and Pierce. Atkins could add some pass rush up the middle on 3rd downs if heís healthy.

Good chance our entire front 4 will be different in 2021 than it was in 2020, as well as changes at LB.
I don't know how the staff is feeling about existing DEs not named Hunter, but I hope they're sure they've got the RDE covered by the time they go to camp.
