Will be interesting to see if Fournette fights it. Seems like both sides want to move on from each other.

What makes this interesting to me, is Fournette a bust or not?

Heís a huge headache it seems, misses a lot of time, but can have the big games at times.

He only has big games against the Steelers lol. If you remove the Steelers and Rams games last year he was sub par. His YPC falls to like 3.5 or something if you remove his 3 longest runs from 2017.

if you take away all of his runs of over a yard, his YPC is under 1.0.

I didn't know guarantees can be voided like that.

Neither did I. Really feels like something that could have a fight over.

Apparently this can be done after a player gets suspended by the NFL.

A player on a rookie contract, that is. It's probably been rarely (never?) done before, because it's guaranteed to piss off the player.

Jacksonville might be looking to trade him though, in which case it's not a bad move as a trade would then not leave any dead cap money.

Thatís what the article speculates, is they want to move on but they want to void the guarantees because itís $7.1 mil over two years.

But man; Fournette is going to fight it because I think it messes with his offset language.

Good for them. He is a slightly better Trent Richardson at this point in his career

Tom Coughlin has contaminated the Jaguars with his losing attitude. It was his call to keep Blake Bortles and that ultimately derailed the entire team and destroyed the morale.
