I just pray nobody gets hurt over the next few weeks. I firmly believe we're a super bowl contender.

Please, Kyle Sloter, you gotta look better than Mannion.

And refs, 3 defensive holding calls in one half against one team? I'm betting the calls weren't all needed.....let alone the 14 offensive holding calls (and the borderline at best roughing call)
    gotta love 'referential' treatment

I hope Sloter wins the job but Mannion actually didnít look too bad. I hope Browning gets another series.

    My thoughts on the game.

-The penalties almost made the game unwatchable, but it's preseason, so expected.
-Only one series, but the first string offense looked really good.
    -Mike Boone>Ameer Abdullah.
-Badet should be our kick returner.
-Bisi Johnson is better than I expected and could/maybe should make the team.
-Holmes, Maatafa, Odenigbo will give us good depth on the line.
    -Jayron Kearse is huge.
    -Sloter>Mannion.
-Zimmer's face gets really red during games.
-Teddy will be a starter again soon.

if they believe in Sloter as they have, and see similar potential in Browning, I see no reason to keep Mannion; just make Kyle QB2 and put Jake on the practice squad. Worst case scenario is there's another Mannion to be found if necessary. I'm a Pac 12 guy and like him at Oregon State, but never really thought of him as an NFL QB (but then, I didn't think much differently about Nick Foles at the time)

I was disappointed to not see more of Dillon Mitchell...the pecking order as WRs were played infers his shot at the team is ultra slim at best. I, too, like Boone over Abdullah...my only hesitation being that he was a mid 2nd rd pick and MAYBE has more potential (but then Dettroit didn't think so)

Loved seeing Jalen Holmes and Hercules Mata'a'fa...but their play doesn't bode well for guys like Jaleel Johnson

I saw that too re Zimmer's face...but couldn't tell if he'd just had too much sun
    gotta love 'referential' treatment
