I sincerely hope that Pagano or Caldwell is not the next Green Bay Packers head coach, and I don't think either will be.

If they do hire either of them they might as well just kept Mike McCarthy.

I have a feeling GB fans won’t be happy with the next hire.

They had to interview a minority candidate and Caldwell is from the WI area

I don't think Caldwell would be a bad choice for the Packers.

I think Caldwell is an awful coach.

Make sure that we create separate threads when the big news hits in regards to hirings and firings. Head coaches and big-name coordinators should fit that description.

Do you guys think that Tomlin might be on thin ice if they miss the playoffs? I mean, it's kinda unjustified seeing what he's done with the Steelers as a whole, but you think that fake punt failure that could be a significant contribution to them missing the playoffs (if they do) just stay in upper management's heads when they're making decisions?

Doesn't the special teams coach decide to fake punt? But I assume it has to be OKed by the head coach.

The word out of Phoenix is that Steve Wilks is 100% gone.

Reports say that if the Buccaneers keep Dirk Koetter, WR DeSean Jackson will be traded (which will probably happen anyway).

Nah because more went into missing the playoffs than just that fake punt.

Ben was terrible in the week 1 tie and week 4 loss, both winnable games. He also made a bunch of bad decisions in the Broncos game leading up to the last second INT too.

Add in continued year long issues from the kicker, a lack of depth, just terrible game calling from Fitchner and Butler at times, and it's a true top to bottom issue.

So I keep trying to talk about it with Steelers fans who want him gone, but if you want to blame Tomlin, you have to spread the blame to everyone because it's a top to bottom organizational issue if we miss the playoffs.

It's the mentally lazy who blame one guy for their team's problems.

Here's a bit of a weird rumor: The Packers may be interested in Northwestern HC Pat Fitzgerald. He has had success in Chicago with the Wildcats, at least for someone coaching at a purely academic school.

If Phins come out flat and get blown out vs the Bills, a very good chance Gase gets fired. That's the rumors going around in South Beach.
