    Jeff Skinner

As a Sabres fan so far, I just would like to thank the Carolina Hurricanes for trading us Jeff Skinner for basically nothing! Guy has been amazing so far with Eichel and Pominville! Hope Botts keeps him in Buffalo for a long time!

Some guy in Buff offered to let Skinner bang his wife if he re-signed in Buffalo. [emoji23]

And the ironic thing is the Hurricanes are looking everywhere for goalscoring.

What does Skinner get in the offseason? If he keeps up this pace, he could probably be looking for $8mil+ a season.

Im not sure he walks. Even if he does I can see him having interest returning to Buffalo. Open market top dollar Id say $8 mil sounds about right, without looking at any numbers or comparable situations.

I am just throwing out a raw number statquo, but do you think 8 years, 68 million (8.5 per year) keeps him in Buffalo?

I think that will be about what's right. It all really depends where the cap goes, but somewhere between 8-9 per year over 7-8 years would be what it takes in my opinion.

Man that Okposo contract is going to be an anchor. Sabres are really going to be needing that compliance buyout in the next CBA.
