    Restaurants and Bars in Cleveland

I am spending a night in Cleveland later this week. Does anyone have any recommendations for bars and restaurants in the area? I've actually never visited Cleveland, even though it's only four hours away.

I'd like to check out one of Michael Symon's places, but would like to see what else is out there as well.

I think it's worth going to Great Lakes. Ohio City is a nice area with the very impressive West Side Market.

I've only had hot chicken once, and it was in Nashville. But I can't find anything about a place called Hattie's in Cleveland.

That's a good idea, might venture out there on Friday during the day. Less than two hours from our hotel.

Ironically, I ended up going to a hot chicken place at the North Market which was just as good as the hot chicken that I had when I was in Nashville.

Also hit up Great Lakes Brewing, but we were short on time. We had a beer and left.

Ended up spending a couple of hours at Mabelís BBQ, one of Michael Symonís restaurants. Would recommend. Great whiskey list as well.
