Miami is starting off the season just like last year where every game is decided in the last few seconds and we either win or lose by 1 or 2 points.

It makes for entertaining games but not sure I can make it through another season of this.

And that’s exactly why we need Butler or some other legit closer on this team..

JRich can not start the offense. Thats not his game. Too many bone headed turnovers.

When does Waiters & JJ return back?

I agree. Crazy that people said he could be our starting PG. He just doesn't have the vision.

He's a good all-around player, that's just not his strength at all at this point. Clearly a SG.

McGruder is our best player so far and I’m dead serious. Would love to keep JRich and get Butler but won’t happen and McGruder makes JRich expendable.

    Dragic
    McGruder
    Butler
    JJ
    Whiteside

Very solid and tough starting unit right there.

Then I try to get one of Lillard/Kyrie/Kemba/Love.

    Dragic
    McGruder
    Butler
    Love
    Whiteside

How does that team do in the East?

Would not give up JRich for Butler anymore. Screw the Wolves. Butler stock has dropped. They're crazy to be playing him, it's a ticking time bomb with the risk of him getting hurt out there.

He’s playing great though. If the deciding factor is JRich you send him 10 times out of 10. His ceiling is lower than what Butler currently is. I would love them next to each other though, but as I said McGruder has been better so far.

Because of the youth factor it would actually be great to trade Mcgruder. Jrich is younger and more skilled offensively. But Mcgruder's trade value is skyrocketing by the game.

His trade value isn’t as much as JRich though because JRich is locked up for awhile and younger so he’s maybe more appealing where as McGruder is a free agent not this summer but the next. Plus his contract numbers amount to nothing to really do anything significant lol.

Idk if JRich is better offensively. From what we’ve seen so far this year McGruder looks much better efficiency wise and he’s the better playmaker while him and Hassan seem to have a lot of chemistry on lobs.

I’m dead serious when I say McGruder has been our best player so far lol.

It's not a deciding factor because the Wolves have less and less leverage with each passing day. They're a clown show. I don't see Miami trading for him anymore and if any team does trade with them it'll be a worse package than what they got from Miami.

Pat is watching every Wolves game during the Heat games so I’m sure they’re still looking for ways to trade for him. Windhorst says they are too. I disagree that his value is dropping right now with him playing so good but I guess we’ll see. There’s a reason we’re in the boat we’re in right now though, we overvalue our guys too much.

McGruder is definitely not our best player. Might be most consistent so far though.

Butler is a great player but not worth trading any and every player. He's a guy who will be overpaid in 9 months. He has injury history. Although he's easily a top 20 player, where has he lead a team? T'Wolves 8th, Bulls 8th, Bulls lottery, Bulls 2nd Round...

And that last one was with a lot of help from the reigning DPOY Noah, 19/12 2blk Pau Gasol, and Rose for 50+ games. Wasn't some scrub roster.

He's a B+ level star, not a superstar. He's also not going to open the flood gates of other stars wanting to come here when he's overpaid and known to kill a locker room with his hyper-competitiveness. Some guys don't need or respond to that crap.

I feel Richardson, Waiters and 1st is a fair offer and nothing else should be included. They can let him leave for nothing or probably take a worse deal.

Didn’t they lose to LeBron in the 2nd round? Can’t fault him for that.

Wolves were the 3rd seed until he went down with injury.

That Bulls 8th seed team would’ve won their match up with Boston if their only PG who was playing great in Rondo didn’t go down.

Jimmy is a top 10 player. In terms of impact he’s a top 5 player. His impact and ability to make any team better is top level and shouldn’t be questioned. He could be the 1st piece to something much bigger if Miami plays their cards right. Time to stop over valuing our guys.

As for McGruder, obviously wouldn’t expect him to keep it up all year and be the best player. I also didn’t expect him to start out like this either and he’s been doing it since preseason. So far, he’s been the best player and it’s really not even debatable.
