First Bolded: Well saying things like “Trump’s divisiveness is fueled primarily by the left” and “without the left, Trump would have been far less divisive” sure sound like it.

Because Trump would be as divisive regardless of how much or little coverage he received, the only thing that would change is how effective his divisiveness would be. But him getting zero coverage while saying a divisive thing still makes him divisive...

Second Bolded: OK, but the Dems changing only matters if they still have the ability to then influence or change anything. If the Dems change and have no power, it won’t matter what they believe if they can’t change anything.

A Nazi yelling in the forrest by themselves is still a Nazi, but if you put a microphone in front of them and push it to the populace 24 hours a day every day then, while you are not the source of the hate, you are definitely help spread the word.

If the Dems change that is nothing but good. Power in this country is cyclical, they will get a chance.

Clinton lost and nothing changed. To me, the best chance for change to happen now is for the same group to lose power.

Ideally the people would vote in more progressives and get rid of the ancient hold-overs, but they control the money, they control the party, and they resist any of the change I want.
