I'm pretty sure they are getting their info from that paper I just linked. We won't really know the answer for a few more months. So for the time being the cautious approach is to tell people not to assume immunity post-virus.

So why are they persuading recovered COVID patients to donate blood for their antibodies?
I thought the issue was less about being immune and more about for how long.

If these are the kids that are out there "peacefully protesting" and don't really vote anyway…who really cares what they say???

It's not like they actually contribute anything.

Caring for elderly would put you in high risk category. At least that’s how my state and employer deem it. Basically anyone over 65 or caring for elderly is high risk and asked to not even make occasional office visits. Which is moot because we’re remote through the end of the year but that’s besides the point.

Yeah. We have a hysterical public that demands info NOW NOW NOW and they happen to be scientifically illiterate. Not understanding that we will always know more tomorrow about anything than we do today should be a basic concept to grasp.

Why do they keep changing their minds!! It’s a conspiracy against trump! That’s the only rationale explanation!

Going by the statistics that this scenario is founded upon (not a scenario I necessarily agree with, mind you) you simply do what you do with the teachers and other high-risk occupations: replace all personnel over 60 and all who balk, and let the rest lead the way the herd immunity. Yes, most of the rest will get infected and some will die, but let it be said that in love and war, nothing worthwhile comes easily.

Meanwhile, you encourage — or mandate — old people to stay away if they fear the consequences.

    Thank you so much.
Here is the question of the day, does anyone think that wealthy people should pay a lower percentage of their income to taxes than middle class people? Don't argue tax brackets, just a simple question. Do you think someone earning 46 million dollars should pay a lower percentage of their income than say someone earning sixty thousand?

Woah! What an edgy post, Slugster!

PSD: where the moderators consistently cave to crybaby tattletales and it's a lot safer to be openly racist, hateful, and ignorant than to be a little rude to the racist, hateful, and ignorant

Don’t worry Sluggo, I’ll make it my personal journey to get a South Asian or Arab man into office.

If Trump can become president with no political background then I don't understand why I need a resumé

For all we know, we had a gay president years ago. But I know what you mean. That AOC/Omar ticket in 2032 will be interesting.
If AOC stays doing what she’s been doing, I would happily vote for her, her VP would be irrelevant.

I see her going for a 2028 or 2032 run.
