    what good will that do when this base that would follow him to a new party have no chance at helping him become President again, which should be the priory, and for those that call him narcissist (he is) is what would bring him more attention and support.

    he can get that support from that base now despite no longer being President.

    IMO the reason he is talking about forming his own party is because the Republicans now want nothing to do with him. Even Turtleman Mitch is talking about what Trump did was an impeachable offense. this is why a conviction needs to take place, if you convict Trump he can no longer be elected to public office.

    I also read, one of his last acts was to issue secret service protection to 13 extended family members who would not normally get such protection.

    We can close this. There are other Trump threads. The presidency is no longer disputed in terms of who is officially our president.
