Republicans finally made a small contribution to the working people at least. The three million Republican donors paid to have the votes recounted in Wisconsin will make sure that some folks get a bit extra money in their wallets this holiday.

The coup continue as Penn state legislators will try to insert their own electors instead of the ones that are supposed to go since Biden won.

Their faking math using wrong data to try and make their case.

Don’t know how it works in PA if they pass a new article does it have to pass both houses and be signed by the governor? Or just be passed by the house and senate, bare in mind that in Penn the gop controls both house and senate.

    That’s one.

The other way they are trying is to change the law now. They want to pass a Bill that needs to get through both chambers that will let the legislators decide on electors, this is because the lawsuit likely won’t work, so they are trying it another way.

Hillary Clinton will be one of the electors for the state of NY. I hope that they let her be the unofficial 270th elector.

    Speaking of that case.

HARRISBURG, Pa. (KDKA) — The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has dismissed the lawsuit from Congressman Mike Kelly and congressional candidate Sean Parnell to declare universal mail-in voting unconstitutional in the state and deny the votes of the majority of Pennsylvanians who voted by mail in the Nov. 3 election.

The state Supreme Court dismissed the case on Saturday, based on the “Petitioners’ failure to file their facial constitutional challenge in a timely manner.”

In the lawsuit, the plaintiffs specifically cited issue with Act 77 and its “universal mail-in ballot provisions.”

They alleged the provisions that allowed all qualified electors to vote by mail in Pennsylvania were unconstitutional. They called for mail-in ballots that they alleged did not meet “constitutional requirements” to not be certified and for only “legal votes” to be certified, or for the Pennsylvania General Assembly to choose the electors and compensate the legal costs of the plaintiffs.

    Yes

The results of the rest of the Penn elections should be certified now.

    More from an article.

The state Supreme Court, in a unanimous decision, threw out the three-day-old order, saying the underlying lawsuit was filed months after the expiration of a time limit in Pennsylvania’s expansive year-old mail-in voting law allowing for challenges to it.
Justices also remarked on the lawsuit’s staggering demand that an entire election be overturned retroactively.

“They have failed to allege that even a single mail-in ballot was fraudulently cast or counted,” Justice David Wecht wrote in a concurring opinion.
The state’s attorney general, Democrat Josh Shapiro, called the court’s decision “another win for Democracy.”
President Donald Trump and his lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, meanwhile, have repeatedly and baselessly claimed that Democrats falsified mail-in ballots to steal the election from Trump. Biden beat Trump by more than 80,000 votes in Pennsylvania, a state Trump had won in 2016.

The week-old lawsuit, led by Republican U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly of northwestern Pennsylvania, had challenged the state’s mail-in voting law as unconstitutional.

As a remedy, Kelly and the other Republican plaintiffs had sought to either throw out the 2.5 million mail-in ballots submitted under the law — most of them by Democrats — or to wipe out the election results and direct the state’s Republican-controlled Legislature to pick Pennsylvania’s presidential electors.
In any case, that request — for the state’s lawmakers to pick Pennsylvania’s presidential electors — flies in the face of a nearly century-old state law that already grants the power to pick electors to the state’s popular vote, Wecht wrote.

While the high court’s two Republicans joined the five Democrats in opposing those remedies, they split from Democrats in suggesting that the lawsuit’s underlying claims — that the state’s mail-in voting law might violate the constitution — are worth considering.

I think the last hurdle is Trump will appeal to the SC with their case that was thrown out on Friday.

That would be the last challenge made if they take in the case.

But based on this case today I don’t believe they can appeal to the Supreme Court because it’s a state election law passed and has no federal basis unless you say that it had federal basis because it elected a president, so am not sure they can appeal to the SC.
