In all honesty, true conservatives are laughing their ***** off at the irony of this pick while admitting that the irony could flip this thing. A black woman that made a living by locking up black people for what everyone calls petty crimes that systemically locked up black people. But she's black...so never mind. Lol. You really can't make this **** up.

You definitely live in the altered world of social media. Not the actual world that I live in.
    I do love Twitter.

But let's play a game: who do you think are some of the most prominent right wingers on social media. Just name a few.

You are right about something: this pick is infinitely more about identity politics than it is about substantive policy reform.

Kamala will be attacked from the left (in bad faith, obviously) by Trump. Just like he did with Hillary (ie "superpredators"). How well will it work? Don't know. Frankly I don't think the VPs are going to ultimately matter one bit. But yeah...this is the BLM era and the Dems are running a mass incarceration ticket.

But I do see many prominent people on the right playing both sides here. That is undeniable. Either these two are dangerous leftist radicals or, well, they aren't. Can't pick and choose the narrative to run with on a case by case basis.

Smh Kamala is more than qualified but I mean does Joe have to pick the only candidate that black people donít like lol. Probably see a lot stay at home now. Progressives might get behind her solely on her identity though.
You don't know progressives if you honestly think they will do that considering her background.

It means she will forget what she said, like Biden backing busing, for a ticket to ride along. This shouldn't be hard for you understand, remember how Cruz, Lindsey, Rubio called Trump all sort of name, and when he won the nomination, they line up to kiss his arse along with the rest of the republcian leadership?

Is this when Harris was so nasty? I looked it up and saw another clip where she asked if he had discussed the Russia investigation with Trumps lawyers. Neither seemed very nasty. I did think Brett was treated badly at his hearing so I was expecting something bad. Is there more to this story or us Trump just full of ****?

In about two years (maybe sooner) we will have our first female president. So check that box.

Then we will still need to to have our first elected female president. Possibly in 2024.

Then, I guess, we'll need a gay prez. Will that finish checking all the boxes??? Hope so.

Same quarantine rules we have now. Just limited to high risk groups. Some models show if we had done that (zero contact with elderly and high risk) and let this run through the rest (with some distancing measures to keep the burden off hospitals) that it could have put us in the clear.

We still just donít know enough. But it seems all the countries that have had the most success are ones that have had outbreaks like SARS and MERS before, so maybe we should just follow their lead.

The second bold... We most certainly do not KNOW that. The media ran with this King's College of London Study and presented it in the most dire way possible. Because... well that's what they do... and scientists generally can't write for ****.
Well Iím going with what Iíve read and listened to from Disease specialists. Mike Osterholm is one of the best minds behind Fauci on this and he referred to this. Itís true we donít KNOW, but as you said we go off the latest studies and findings.

From my reading, the education of all the bad things this does to the parts of the body, not labeled lungs, keeps growing.

One would have to assume the Dems had to consider whomever the VP pick now as someone they would be comfortable in running in 2024....given Joe would be 82 (and has he already said he'd be a one term president anyway?)

For all we know, we had a gay president years ago. But I know what you mean. That AOC/Omar ticket in 2032 will be interesting.

Those caring for the elderly and high risk would have to be in the same 'bubble'...unless you're expecting the high risk to care for the elderly and the high risk fend for themselves.

I don't suppose that I have to point out that this ticket is constitutionally not allowed?

Ilhan Omar is not a natural born citizen and without a modification to the Constitution, she would not be allowed to run for president or vice president.
