Not that it's likely, but imagine that bloomberg is a man of his word and spends a billion dollars in texas supporting the democratic nominee.

Republicans have tried to bash Democrats as socialists and tried to make them a bad word. Heís telling them that he doesnít care what you call him by accepting the term.

Iím not planning to vote for him in the primary. But Iíve got no qualm about doing so in the general.
I've answered it. Bernie thinks the people should be running businesses "democratically" which they would be doing using the force of government. That is socialism. Bernies proposed policies don't reflect that during his recent campaigns, but he's said things all around that simple concept literally for decades. That plus his regular and repeated praise of socialist leaders and socialist governments make it really clear that Bernie's personal philosophy is socialist.

That said, and I've said this before too, I'm a capitalist, but Bernie got my vote in the primaries in 2016 and I'm considering him now, just because the alternatives are SO much worse, and I suspect Bernie won't be able to get much done while he's a likely 1 term President (if he wins).

My vote for Prez doesn't matter much as Dems are not going to come close to winning Texas, but in the Primary right now I think I'll vote for Amy, but it's close.

Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and North Carolina certainly are up for grabs.

Florida and Ohio aren't out of the question.

Essentially all the swing states. That's why they call them that

I think he has better shot in AZ/TX than WI but could very well be wrong. If his strategy is getting out new voters and he succeeds, the potential swing is greater with that strategy in those states.

PA has voted for Democrats every election I've been alive, besides 2016. It's more of a blue state in general at this point than a swing state. There isn't a poll that shows Trump beating Sanders in a hypothetical match up.

There doesn't exist a single poll that shows Trump beating Sanders in Michigan.

Wisconsin polling is a bit closer, but Bernie leads most of them.

    NC polling is a tossup.

Bernie has gotten within the MOE in multiple Texas polls. Arizona seems more unlikely.

I know polls can lie. At the same time, they're usually pretty close. At the very least there's no reason to think that we aren't looking at close races in MI, PA and NC. And probably some others as well. There certainly is no real evidence to suggest you should be as confident as you are that there's no chance a Dem wins any of those states. They're all, again, traditional swing states with recent histories of voting for Democrats. And if Bernie wins, Democrats won't be running an unpopular politician with a ton of crippling baggage again. They'll be running the country's most popular politician with no baggage at all like hers.

Unless the economy absolutely tanks or some other disaster happens, Trump will win those states going away. Bernie doesn't stand a chance. The only candidates that could possibly beat Trump would be Klobuchar or Bloomberg.

What evidence do you have for this? Any of it?

But honestly, I want Republicans to think this. So maybe I should shut up...

Thinking Klobuchar has a better chance is insanity. Absolute insanity.

Bernie's base is young voters. Young voters don't vote. He's betting all of his chances on a historic turnout for the dems... shaky ground at best.
Just the evidence from Trumps own primaries, the Republicans won't forget to vote.
Klobuchar is the only moderate dem you have, if they were smart, they would push her like crazy.
