There is not single real socialist running for president. Bernie has realized that they’re using the term socialist to describe Democrats and so he’s not running away from it. In that regard, he’s ahead of the curve. He would call his own Vice President, who is far more conservative than he is, a socialist if he ran as a Democrat because that’s just what you do.

Once again a moderate is making the democrat party a happy place for republicans. Amy Klobuchar, heading into the south, is saying that pro-life people have a place in the democrat party. She smilingly said this on the View, that the democrat tent is big enough for both, both pro-life and pro-choice. Right. Let's create another dumpster fire within the party to separate us which would be bigger than the progressive vs moderate one.

That seems to be the moderate constant mantra, to make the party appealing to the republican voters. What will be next inviting the segregationist, that Biden bragged about working with, into the party?

Focus on the Independents and those don't vote, forget appealing to republicans, make your base happy not confrontational within their own party.

In the past week, i’ve seen him two people on the subway one with a Bloomberg 2020 button and one with a Klobuchar 2020 button.

The ****, y’all? We live in NYC. What dumbass NYer wants to support Bloomberg or the random woman from the Midwest?

I always hear about people on the coasts are elitists and how people don’t like politicians from states like NY or California because those states aren’t reflective of the whole country but as a NYer, I don’t want some random *** person from Minnesota or Indiana leading my country.

I’ll be back later to answer all of your problems and antagonizing comments...
If Trump can become president with no political background then I don't understand why I need a resumé

Oh, I never said she was pro-life and aware of her stance. She made that clear on the View, and maybe I should have posted that as well.

The reason people join a party is to have that party champion their issues, I don't see how a party can champion two polarizing sides of an issue. They are both rabid about their cause unwilling to compromise an inch so I don't see how this would not affect party unity. There would be a fight for control of the party similar to what the progressive and moderate are doing now.

If I was a pro-life voter I would view this like Blacks do when republican make a play for their vote. With a grain of salt since the republicans have a strong white nationalist base within their party like we have a strong pro-choice base in ours.

That is why I diss Klobuchar's suggestion because it was a cheap ploy to gain support.

Maybe she's trying to say that abortion doesn't have to be a deciding factor over the rest of your views.

You are missing the point, how can the party champion two opposing views? If the party welcomes segregationist/white nationalists into the party and going to champion their views what would that say to the various minorities within the party, blacks, Jews or Muslims? If there are too many contradictory issues in the party how are we ever going to reach a consensus on anything?
