Thank god Bird is back. He's been a great contributer to the team.

So sick of this off season... I just got to my office, stopped for takeout. Open up my food, grab the customary provided disposable cutlery... Only to find out its not so customary... It's a damn wood spoon.

OK, I'm for saving the environment, not a tree hugger (I drive a high performance cruiser, twin turbo that's the good part, but catless downpipes) so I try to eat my food with said wooden spoon. Horrible experience. Now how this plays into baseball, specifically the Yankees, once that wooden spoon touched my tongue, it made me feel the same way damn way I feel when thinking about this off season. Disgusted.

Seriously, don't try using the wooden spoon to eat.

I think he does...and he'll likely get some crazy endorsements as well. Maybe he'll get a new model of PF flyers designed for him.

    Per Jack Curry:

Yankees closing on 2 year deal with DJ Lemahieu. Another sign the Yankees are unlikely to sign Machado.

Heyman was just on WFAN and stated the 100% belief is that the Yankees are willing to go to 230-240M For Manny. Take that for what you will....

Jack Curry is reporting the Yankees are close on a two-year deal with infielder DJ LeMahieu.
