Either way, the point was that college football players are highly paid (over 6 figure salaries) both in their "secret" payments from Nike/Under Armour/etc. and their payment from the school via compensated tuition.
You do realize that regardless if you believe some/all/most schools make under the table payments, the vast majority of college football players do NOT get such payments or shoe deals- they have their tuition waived (which, btw, is not an actual cost to the school it's potential revenue uncollected)
