    IGT: October "A New Beginning"

Can't wait till tomorrow night. I think Pickard was claimed to backup Elliot so Stolarz and Hart play in the AHL.

I don't think Stolarz was waived -- so he can't go to the AHL, can he?

Pickard is on the non-roster list still. Flyers may open the season with 3 goalies. We'll see if he gets waived today.

I see Stoli getting claimed if they waive him. I'd rather have 3 goalies and let Stolarz and Pickard fight it out, then waive Neuvi when he comes back (and pray he gets claimed).

    Lineup at practice yesterday

    28-14-11
    Lindblom-19-93
    Jvr-vorobyev-17
    21-15-12

    9-53
    6-3
    47-8

-Probably the most optimal 2nd pair the team could put together without Myers.

-Hopefully we get the good gudas for a while so sanheim can grow.

    -pickard dealing with immigration issues

-lehtera opening as the 4c. Let's hope it's not a drag on the lineup

-that third pair could be serious trouble if not extremely sheltered

    - lindblom and vorobyev have changed to numbers 23 and 24

    -11 hours until puck drop.

    Let's go Flyers

P.s. vorobyev on PP2 in practice. This is good. very good

PP2 needs a true QB imo. Outside of sanheim and maybe patrick the team doesnt have anyone else with that skill set.

Hak wont play sanheim over provy and Patrick hasn't looked too effective in that role either.

I love the idea of finding out what misha can do there.

Lindblom also doesnt fit the mold.

Obviously if I'm wrong about vorobyev flourishing in a PP role it's easy to switch him out. But if I'm right, the team becomes better from day one.

Sadly, same coaching, likely same players, I'd assume same passive B.S.

Listen, this probably isn't *the* year, but at some point, Giroux deserves to a raise a Cup. I've been legitimately watching the Flyers hockey since the early 00's (I watched in the 90's, but was young) and I can't name a guy who deserves to raise that Cup more than him.

This probably won't be the year, but give that guy a Cup and a Hall call. He's a monster. Best Flyer hockey player I've watched over my lifetime of really watching.

At some point, the Cappy should carry one. He's earned it. Dude's a hell of a player.

The rest of the teams are set at goalie for both NHL and AHL, so barring an injury between now and when Pickard arrives, Stolie should safely pass thru waivers.
